I am looking into the option to add API's for content sources and that is one instance where an Export/Import may be necessary.
You have the option to Export and Import your projects from within the software. This video explains how to do that. This will normally only be necessary when there is a core update to the system. Most updates will not require an export, but as the functionality grows it might be necessary to do an export to update the software.
